Chris and Ariana Hannemann built an indoor beach and hard court volleyball club in Tacoma Washington in 2016.
Chris and Ari’s experience, passion and love of the game was passed on to all who entered the doors of their facility. Every resource was made available to those who were pursuing their dream to play volleyball in college. And dreams came true! Our daughter received an offer to play beach volleyball at the University of Arizona. And that was just the beginning. Chris and Ari had several players commit to play in college – USC, Stanford, Grand Canyon, Arizona State, Cal Poly, University of Oregon, Cal Berkley, Hawaii, Long Beach State, and University of Washington. The list goes on and on.
Players that have trained under them have gone on to compete overseas in junior world championships, have won NCAA National Championships and have competed against Olympians in the AVP. We can’t thank Chris and Ari enough for the time, dedication and support they gave us!
Chris and Ari Hannemann had the foresight to start one of the first, “year round” beach clubs and were instrumental in growing the BVCA team competition format at the juniors level. They saw where the sport was going and developed an amazing cohort of future D1 athletes to train and compete together. It was truly unique. The early foundational work, especially the focus on hand setting, was huge in helping Piper become the player she is today at Cal Poly.
It began with Chris & Ari recognizing potential in our daughter when she was 10 years old. Throughout our amazing journey with Chris & Ari’s volleyball club, they developed her, treated her as family, maintained excellence in training, and always had her back. The club started from scratch and became the #1 beach/indoor volleyball club in the state. Today she is a D1 athlete at an amazing school. Could not have done it with the Hannemann’s. We are proud to have been part of it. Thank you Chris & Ari.
Chris and Ari Hannemann have been coaches, supporters and most importantly believers in our daughter Hannah since she was 11 years old. They have been there throughout her journey from first playing in the sand and the whole way through her college recruitment experience. Truly grateful for the impact that they have had on her life, and we look forward to watching Hanna on the sand now that she is at Cal Poly!
Working with Chris and Ariana Hannemann was an incredible experience, unlike any we’ve had with a coach. As a parent, I can say your athlete is guaranteed to grow as a player, and an individual. Our daughter was encouraged to push herself outside of her comfort zone to achieve high results and go beyond her goals.
She was given training specific for her position, and both Chris and Ari are committed to player development in each and every athlete. Our daughter Abbie is now a D1 beach volleyball player at Boise St who has helped to lead her team to incredible new heights, all because of the training she received from Chris and Ari.
Chris and Ariana, our family is very grateful for the positive impact your beach volleyball program had on our daughter’s life. Through all the teaching moments, encouragement, and support provided by you and your staff, Presley learned the fundamentals, developed physically, increased her mental toughness, and built lasting friendships with coaches and players alike. She was set on a path for where she is today playing beach volleyball for the University of Oregon. Chris and Ari, we can’t thank you enough for taking our child into your program (seven years ago) even when she had no beach experience. We are very proud of her accomplishments and appreciate all your efforts to make her a better person and player.
